Active Investing: Advanced Technical Analysis
|
This intensive, hands-on class takes advanced technical analysis beyond the basics. Because history repeats itself, students learn to use advanced charting techniques to analyze past performance, as well as backtest and apply these findings to today's market conditions. Information about specific trading systems is accompanied with explicit entry and exit rules for each system, which form the basis for placing these complex trades.
Active investing involves taking advantage of shorter term (intraday to one-week) price swings by closely monitoring the market during open hours and making numerous quick—but well-informed—decisions to buy, hold or sell. This aggressive trading technique is based primarily on technical analysis of volume, key indicators and technical chart patterns and formations.

Total Immersion in Active Investing: Advanced Forex
|
As a follow-up to the Forex Courses, this course concentrates on advanced forex analysis for active investors. Goals include learning how to use a variety of technical indicators to determine trend, support, resistance, momentum and market sentiment, as well as how to analyze new announcements and test and develop a personal forex trading system.
In this intense course, you'll learn to determine support and resistance, both discretionarily and statistically. Refine your existing system and know when to set it aside or modify it to match existing market conditions. Understand risk and money management in more detail. Learn that risk control generates a more consistent profit than any single system or profit-taking strategy alone.
